The useful question is not whether Medellín offers breast lifts. It does. The useful question is whether the surgeon can explain what is sagging, what is missing, what can be reshaped with your own tissue, and what would require an implant or a second-stage operation. A good mastopexy plan should make those trade-offs visible before you pay a deposit.

What can change the operative plan
These variables are why a package quote based on a few photos should be treated as preliminary. A formal consultation may narrow, expand or change the plan once the surgeon examines tissue quality, asymmetry, prior scars and medical history. Ask which parts of the proposal are firm and which are contingent on the in-person assessment.
Recovery is part of procedure selection
- Expect support garments, incision care and activity restrictions determined by your surgeon.
- If drains are used, know who removes them and what happens if output remains high near your planned departure.
- Do not schedule your flight around an internet recovery average; schedule it around your surgeon's actual clearance.
- Plan for help with luggage, overhead bins and any task that requires forceful upper-body movement.
A useful recovery estimate has milestones, not just a number of days: when you can walk independently, shower, manage dressings or drains, sleep in a normal position, ride in a car, work, lift, exercise and fly. The international-patient lens: your recovery has to work outside the operating room
A technically appropriate operation can still be a poor travel plan if the first week requires help you have not arranged. Translate the surgeon's recovery instructions into ordinary tasks: getting out of bed, showering, carrying groceries, putting on a garment, climbing stairs, opening heavy doors, lifting luggage and sitting through a flight.
Before surgery, decide who handles each task and where you will go if the recovery is not routine. This is especially important for procedures with longer incisions, drains, compression garments or upper-body lifting restrictions. A return ticket and a hotel reservation are logistics; neither is a postoperative care plan.
Make the quote comparable line by line
Ask for enough detail that two clinics can be compared without guessing. “All inclusive” is not a line item. If one proposal includes anesthesia, facility, garments and follow-up while another excludes them, the headline total does not tell you which plan is actually less expensive.

Can a breast lift be done without implants?
Yes. Mastopexy can reshape and raise existing breast tissue without an implant. Whether that matches your volume goals is a separate question for the consultation.
Does a lift make breasts smaller?
